Pack it up, pack it in!
Like I said after the giveaway on Hip2Save we had a very happy response to our Just For Baby Bib...YIPEE (happy dancing) We are ecstatic about people joining in the love of mommapia! This week bibs are being sent to several different states and even to the UK, it's official mommapia has gone international. :) We are thrilled to be spreading the love and are so thankful for the positive support, keep telling your friends. Drumroll Please!
To all of our friends and family thank you, thank you...for your patience and support. B and I are so grateful for the incredible people we have in our lives. The long awaited arrival of mommapia is finally here and we couldn't be more excited! Our patience and hard work have paid off and the proof in now in the puddin'.
www.mommapia.com is up and running! Our patent-pending Just for Baby Bib is ready to be shown to the world. An idea that was born from two Mom's, raising kids and battling everyday in the trenches of dirty diapers and dishes. Finding ways to handle the daily grind with style, function and class. Two Mom's whose world got flipped upside down when an idea came to them that they couldn't ignore.
Mommapia's Just for Baby Bib is an innovative modern approach to feeding babies. In a nutshell it is a bib, burp cloth and modesty cover in one unique design. Before we get snowed in...
I was up this morning running around with my little munchkins before this midwest snow/ice-storm rolls through. I like to shop early in the morning when no ones else is there. My kids have free reign to run the isle's without interruption and I can cruise coffee in hand collecting my food items.
This morning however with a winter advisory alert was the exact opposite. I could tell pulling in the parking lot it was gonna be a fight for the last carton of eggs and the last loaf of bread. Moms sizing each other up for who would get the last carton of 2% Horizon milk! People were everywhere in the store loading up for the snowed in days to come.
While I braved the crowd and swerved my way around obstacles I managed to get my storm supplies milk, eggs, bread and of course a fresh deck of cards and Life and Style magazine. Girls gotta have the necessities!
The grocery store wasn't however the only place I needed to go before this storm. I received a voicemail last night that made me one happy momma, the new "Just for baby Bibs" arrived finished and ready for pick up!! Woohoo happy dance!!! Kids in tow we snatched them up before the snow!!! Hey that's a rhyme?!

Here we Gooooooo!!!
mommapia.com website launch coming February 2011!
After months of hard work and TONs I mean tons of planning Bianca and I are finally ready to put our blood, sweat and tears on the world wide web! We are both so excited to be starting a brand new company from the ground up. Ideas that were born through lot's of interrupted phone conversations (we both are very busy mothers on the side) thoughts shared and born over morning coffees before the kids needed to be rushed off to school and husbands needed kissed good-bye for the day.
Ok if we are being real a lot of these phone conversations that birthed these ideas were often done while we were nursing our own babies, cooking family dinners, changing diapers, breaking up sibling fights and as much as both of us hate to admit behind the wheel of our car in the drive thru of Starbucks!
So much time has gone into our newest baby, Mommapia. First the name came about because Bianca and I both had our third child, little girls one day apart. She calls her adorable darling Little Momma, and I call mine Sweet Pia. Put these two amazing girls together and you get Mommapia, the company name. We found this name fitting because the original idea from Bianca came about while we were both whining about being constantly wet while breastfeeding our new rugrats. Using bibs, burp clothes, breast pads, nursing covers and the occasional random household item, paper towel, tissue etc :) ... we soon found ourselves juggling more than just life with a new baby.
We thought there has to be some sort of way to get everything you need in ONE thing. I, Suzanne started thinking about the design. Taking the idea and drawing it out on paper. I remember the first picture I drew of it that I sent to Bianca via text. A bib that extends on both ends to allow the mother to use it as a bib, burp cloth and even a modesty cover when needing privacy. An All-IN-ONE feeding bib.
We are excited to be bringing our idea to the world. Bringing function and fashion to feeding. The worlds first ever patent-pending Just for Baby Bib...Mommapia, Love the bib you're in!
